Learn to Meditate
- Join us each week on Monday evenings from 5:30 to 6:30pm as we meditate together using the practices outlined in Jyotish Novak's easy-to-read and easy-to-understand guide to meditation. Classes/meditations are led by Buddy & Lisa.
- Donations are welcome but these sessions are free and open to anyone who is sincerely interested. We'll have snacks, coffee and tea downstairs after class.
- The book is available from Crystal Clarity but we also have several copies of it to share or you can purchase a copy from us.
- Registration is not required. It's perfectly fine if you just show up. If you want to be on the mailing list, though, sign up below and we'll send you a reminder before each session.
Kids and Family Yoga
Yoga is not just for grown-ups. We've been teaching children's yoga for many years and will be offering drop-in yoga classes that are suitable for both children and adults. Sessions start with movement and include pranayama, affirmations, asana, meditation, visualization and plenty of games and activities. You don't have to bring kids either. The idea is mainly just to be together and have fun.
Sessions are led by Buddy & Lisa. Donations are welcome but classes are free and open to anyone who is sincerely interested.
We are planning to offer these sessions one day a week for about 50 minutes. We can do them during the day or in the evening. Please contact us and let us know what days/times might work for you. We would love to get this going!

Energization Excercises
Yogananda introduced western practitioners to Energization Excercises all the way back in 1925 with his original Yogoda lessons. They encapsulate many of the benefits of hatha yoga practice into a series of 39 simple and practical movements that can be accomplished within 15 to 20 minutes. This is handy when you don't have time for a full yoga session but you want to experience the tension/relaxation and physical/mobility benefits of a yogic practice. Energization Excercises are a particularly good way to prepare the body and mind before sitting for a long meditation.
